According to the announcement of the permanent secretariat of the festival, 39 plays, including 25 domestic plays and 14 foreign plays, have been sent to the secretariat of the 20th Saqqez International Kurdish Theater Festival.
Domestic plays from the cities of Kermanshah, Sanandaj, Saqqez, Marivan, Urmia, Ilam, Mahabad, Bukan, Javanroud, Bijar, Baneh and Divandareh, as well as foreign plays from Syria, Turkey and the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, have been sent to the 20th Saqqez Kurdish Theater Festival.
These plays will be reviewed by judges, and after evaluation, the plays that have qualified for the 20th festival will be announced.
The 20th Kurdish Theater Festival will be held in the city of Saqqez in December this year under the direction of Dr. Qutb al-Din Sadeghi, a prominent artist from Kurdistan.
