Official start of the 20th Saqiz Kurdish Theater Festival

The 20th Kurdish Theater Festival in Saqiz officially began on Wednesday, July 19, with the arrival of the groups at the venue. The first performance of this stage was “A Theater for a Festival” from Divandar, followed by “Spiro” from Urmia.
This morning, Thursday, July 20, a critical conference and interpretation of these two theaters was held with a special workshop to prepare artists and theater enthusiasts to see the performances that will be presented this afternoon.
Thus, four new plays will be staged on the second day of the festival: Melody on the Feet of Life from Duhok, Tuwa Soora from Sanaa, Tasann from Kermanshah, and Shanaz from the West. A critique and review session will also be held tomorrow Friday.
The 20th Saqiz Kurdish Theater Festival began on Wednesday, July 19 and will continue until Saturday, July 22. The closing ceremony will be held on Sunday.
